Dr. Becky Wooster, PT has been a manual-based orthopedic physical therapist for 15 years, and takes a whole-body approach to treating movement and soft tissue dysfunction. She earns advanced manual therapy training through The Institute of Physical Art. She has been speciality trained in pelvic physical therapy. Since bearing and delivering three children of her own, she wholeheartedly appreciates the complexity of the female human body through pregnancy and birth. However, with the joy of being pregnant and birthing children, also comes the distress, injury, and sometimes trauma to not just the pelvic floor and abdominals, but almost any other joint and muscle in the body!

“I experienced 3 very different pregnancy and postpartum times with each of my 3 children. During my first pregnancy I was confused about my options for birth preparation, birthing in a hospital, and what to do postpartum - you hear and read about so many differing opinions! After my first child was born I was very lost and in a lot of pain “down there.” I took a deep dive into researching postpartum, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and how I could heal myself. With my second pregnancy I focused on preparing my body for birth and I birthed a baby peacefully and confidently at a birth center. By my third pregnancy I was empowered to know what I wanted for my birth and postpartum. Though it was slow process, I healed from pregnancy and birth with consistent exercise and an understanding the importance of holistic health.” -Dr. Becky Wooster, PT
